‘How to style’ - Dressing The Perfect Sideboard

Your sideboard shouldn't just be something on the sidelines. Here's our 3 tips on how to style your perfect sideboard.

1. make light a statement 

Use a statement lamp, like this Lee Broom Eclipse table lamp. This will create a gorgeous pool of light creating the perfect evening atmosphere 

2. curate  

When choosing objects to display don’t be afraid to mix old with new, designer with vintage.  

Why not layer some artwork at the back of the sideboard or on the wall above. You could create a gallery wall or use a singular piece of statement artwork – like this vintage find from eBay. 

Play around with differing heights, sizes and shapes of the objects – books are always a great addition. 

3. use structural botanicals 

Think of florals like artwork, style the sideboard with a vase you love and fill it with structural twigs or seasonal blooms and don’t be scared to go big. 

And lastly, remember the senses - always complete with a fragranced candle.
